Everything I’m Cooking for Christmas

Christmas Day is a week away and I feel like my lists are listing! Do you know what I mean? But the best thing I can ever do for myself when things start to feel overwhelming is to put it all down paper.

One of my biggest challenges for the next two weeks is mapping out our meals. It’s been a while since we’ve had everyone under one roof, so I’m hoping muscle memory for cooking for this crew kicks in! All I want to do is fill my house with all of their favorite foods and friends so they’ll never want to leave again!

I have a big week of cooking ahead of me and thought I’d share everything I’m planning to make. Maybe there is something in this list to help you…feel free to steal any of these that might be helpful. Sound like a plan? Let’s do this.

Christmas Eve Appetizers

We are doing Christmas Eve at my brother’s house this year and they have lasagna on the menu. I only need to bring appetizers. Here’s what I’m bringing:

Boursin/Pistachio/Fig Jelly Dip

Pigs in a Blanket, but make it look like Christmas

Grace’s Christmas Tree Charcuterie Board

Christmas Morning Brunch

We usually have breakfast right after the kids open their presents—thankfully these days it’s more like 10:30 a.m. than 5:30 a.m. What I like about these recipes is that I can make them ahead and just stick them in the oven when I wake up so they are ready to go when we are.

Sunrise Punch

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Protein Bites

Baked French Toast

Chocolate Chip Croissant Bake

Cheesy Egg Casserole

Dairy-Free Quiche

Brown-Sugar Bacon

Rich Cranberry Coffee Cake

Swap out a coffee cake for a tray of bagels from Once Upon a Bagel

Christmas Dinner

Beef Tenderloin (game-time decision for my husband)

Christmas Salad

Loaded Smashed Potatoes

Seasoned Green Beans

Pull-Apart Christmas Tree

Christmas Desserts

Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake

Christmas Monster Cookies

Christmas Bellybuttons

I hope having these recipes a little early in the week help you enjoy what’s most important about Christmas—spending time with your family! Have the best holiday!
