Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week! I’ve mostly been thinking about this weekend’s playoff game for our son Jimmy. Lake Forest High School’s football team is in the quarterfinals tomorrow afternoon and it’s just so exciting! I would be so grateful if you could send winning, non-injury vibes towards our stadium tomorrow at 1 p.m. There is something so special about high school sports and the way they bring a community together. This week, the sports brand Wilson captured this perfectly in this reel. If you missed it, here it is.
To keep my football-mom nerves in check (I swear, you’d think I was taking the field tomorrow), it’s been a fun distraction coming up with things to share with you. Let’s do this!
Jones Road Moisturizer: One of my girlfriends asked me to tag along to Jones Road Beauty this week and I was more than happy to! While we were there, she had me try her favorite night-time product, Miracle Cream. My friend describes it as a drink of water for your skin and I totally agree. You wake up feeling all glowy–and you can’t beat the $38 pricetag.
Almond Croissant Nespresso: The seasonal-flavored coffees for my Nespresso bring me so much joy. I just discovered their new “almond croissant” flavor and it’s so good.
KMJ blouses: Give me a great button-down blouse with a ruffle and you will have my heart. These KMJ blouses are the best I have found. They do a new drop every Friday and today it was all about the flannels. These shirts are beautifully made and I am able to launder them myself. I’m typically a medium but their website does a great job helping you find your size. Such a find!
Favorite fall desserts: I’ve been dusting off my fall dessert recipes getting ready for Thanksgiving. Here are some of my favorites.
Espacio wooden bracelets: My favorite wooden bracelets are 20% off right now. These are fun for yourself or would make a great gift.
Thanksgiving dress option: If you’re looking for an easy dress to wear this Thanksgiving, the one I’m wearing in the above photo is great! The quilted material is a fun detail and it’s super comfortable. It’s from Tuckernuck and under $200. I’m wearing a medium.
The Many Lives of Mama Love memoir: My yoga teacher Dianne told me to download this memoir for my walks and I’m so glad I did. This was a beautiful story of redemption!
Have a great weekend, friends! If you need me, I’ll be working in concessions or cheering on my favorite football players. Go Scouts! And go Irish!
