Happy Friday! It already feels like it’s a holiday, doesn’t it? I make my first trip to the airport tomorrow to pick up our Grace and her Prince William. I’m so excited to have them home for the week and share all of our 4th of July fun with her British boy. I seriously wonder what he’ll make of all of the red, white, and blue!
But before I’m distracted by my full house, I do have a fun list of things I want to share with you from the week.

Barbara Walters documentary: When I was growing up, I always wanted to be Barbara Walters. She always got the interview and she always knew the right questions to ask. Hulu is streaming a new documentary about her career called Tell Me Anything. It’s a great 90-minute overview of her life at the center of the world’s most interesting people and also put a spotlight on the price she paid for her fame. If you like Barbara, you will enjoy this documentary.
We Might Just Make It After All: I finished this book last week and I’m so sad it’s over. It’s a book by Kate Spade’s best friend—Elyce Arons—about their friendship and the building of their empire. If you were a new college graduate in the 90’s, you were Kate Spade’s target market—women who appreciated beautiful things but weren’t exactly in the market for luxury handbags. If you fall into this group, you will appreciate this story so much.
Summer glow: I feel like I’m always talking your ear off about makeup, but was several times this week asking me about my “glow” and I feel a responsibility to share my secret with you. It comes down to two products–Saie’s Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator in Sunglow and Saie Slip Tint in shade “Three + half.” .
