Think You or Someone You Love Has Covid? What You Need to Do

Ever think you have your act together only to have one thing make you question it all? ⁣

That’s exactly what happened to me earlier this month when one of my children was exposed to Covid. After everything I’ve read and researched since the pandemic hit in the spring, I was pretty clueless about where to go to get her tested. She wasn’t sick. It wasn’t an emergency. So I didn’t want to bother our doctor. But ultimately, this is what I did. And to my surprise, a close friend who is also a pediatrician, reaffirmed that this was the right thing to do. Don’t overthink things. Call your doctor! They are best equipped to tell you what steps you should take, especially since there are still other illnesses out there that could be making us sick. Doctors really do know best.⁣ (My daughter tested negative, btw. ??)

Hope this little PSA is helpful. (And please, please keep wearing your ? .) Happy Tuesday!⁣
