Just a little love for our sweet Grace who finished the more than 100-mile hike to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. This experience was a bucket-list item for Grace. She went all alone, up for adventure, and open to whatever her days would bring. I’m just so proud of the fearless, smart, incredible young woman she is! Garbage bags are my number one trick for moving my kids’ clothes from home to college. You take the already hanging clothes, cover them in a garbage bag, and drop them right into the closet when you get to your child’s dorm. This has saved us so much time on move-ins and move-outs. My son Eddie did NOT do this when we recently moved him to Connecticut and I’m still a little salty about it. (😩 So much folding, unfolding, and hanging! 😩) Keep everyone happy and use the garbage-bag trick for your upcoming move!

My mom always taught me to save special things for special days and I was never very good at that. And I seem to be getting worse as I get older! 😂 Today’s “special occasion” is a planning meeting for our high school’s concessions. Who says that concessions can’t be cute? Wear the dress!

This cute chambray shirt dress is from @boden_clothing that I bought last spring. But when I tell you that Boden’s late summer/early fall collection is having a moment…I’m not saying enough. I can’t wait to share some of my favorites later today. Stay tuned! ❤️

I think I love summer as much as most people, but

I think I love summer as much as most people, but I might like my daily routine more! With today being August 1, I can actually see my little routine on the horizon and I’m not mad about it. It’s all of those good little habits and systems that I work on all year, that pretty much get blown up over the summer. Not that I would trade the beautiful weather or the slower days with my kids away for anything, but I’m a girl who likes her structure. Cheers to a new month and getting back on track!
