As I’ve been working on my recap of the trip I took with my parents, I’ve also been thinking about the things I saw them use or wear that I loved. This is my “sister haul” from our European adventure.
From Betsy: The best readers! My sister looked cute in her glasses all week and we finally had to know where they came from…Amazon! The glasses come in a set of three, are so lightweight, and are only $17!
From Maggie: Mags may have won best dressed from our trip! She is so organized and created the cutest looks for every day of our vacay. Her other talent is being able to create great looks for less. She had the cutest things from Old Navy, Loft, Gap, and J.Crew Factory. My favorite were these wide-leg straight jeans from J.Crew Factory that are super high-waisted and stretchy. The only trick is you need to order a size down from your typical size (they are that stretchy!). So cute and only $69!
Also from Mags comes my new love of meat sticks. High in protein, low in sugar, and just the salty bite I need to go with my veggies at lunch. While I came with all of the Trader Joe’s sweet treats for our trip, Maggie thankfully had her snack bag filled with meat sticks. I’m a convert!
From Kate: My sister Kate is a world-traveler. With her role with the Olympics, she travels the globe and has the best travel tips and tricks. Her favorite everyday travel bag is the MZ Wallace Sling Crossbody. Three of my sisters brought this and my sister Maggie found a great dupe for it from Quince. I, of course, had to bring this cute little tote from Alex Mill. My mom thought it was a terrible choice and to prove the point, she spent the week stealing things out of it when I wasn’t looking. So if you ever find yourself traveling with my mom, I’d suggest buying one of these sling bags!
From Sarah: I feel like I’m saving the best for last–beauty picks always are. Sarah was our amazing navigator, Uber caller, and map reader. She also had some fun beauty picks. Sarah got us all hooked on this Caudalie Beauty Elixir that is so fun to carry in your purse for when you need a little pick-me-up. She also gifted us these amazing eye patches–these Peter Thomas Roth one are her favorites!
