One of the most fun and unexpected joys of this little job of mine is getting to learn about and test so many amazing beauty products. Just today, I discovered that Martha Stewart has her own skincare line. Who knew? But given how incredible she looks at 85, I’d certainly like to know more!
Here are the August beauty finds that earned my glowing review:
- Oak Essentials Moisture Rich Emulsion: This is one of the creamiest, richest, most hydrating lotions I’ve tried in a while. Everything Oak Essentials does feels exceptional, and this new emulsion is no different.
- ILIA Thru Line Waterproof Eyeliner: An incredible eyeliner that comes in a range of gorgeous colors. I’ve tried Serif and Flourish, and even though the formula is waterproof, it’s still easy to remove at the end of the day.
- Elemis Resurfacing Pads, Cleansing Balm, Collagen Moisturizer, and Pro-Collagen Future Restore Serum: Lots of love for Elemis this month! I used this combination after spending a full day on an airplane, and it brought my skin back to life. If you’re looking for a new skincare regimen, this is a wonderful one.
- Westman Atelier Suprême Bio-Complex Liquid Foundation in L2: I am absolutely blown away by this new foundation. The coverage is fantastic, and it layers beautifully under the rest of my makeup.
- Wonderblush Cream Blush in Aube: This cream blush melts right into your skin and has incredible staying power. The color is so pretty, too.
- Jones Road Beauty Classic Lip in Nude Rose: I’m always on the hunt for a pretty “non-red” lip, and this color is perfect. I especially love it layered over the ILIA Lip Sketch Hydrating Crayon in Pink Door.
- Salt & Stone Deodorant: I’ve never been much of a natural-deodorant girl, but this one is good! I especially love the Saffron & Cedar fragrance.
- Kiehl’s CollaShot Plumping Serum: I know I’ve talked about this one a lot, but it really is that good. You can almost feel your skin becoming plumper and more hydrated as soon as you apply it.
- Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser: This cleanser contains the finest little granules that gently exfoliate your skin without feeling too harsh.
- YSE Beauty Xtremely Quenched Peptide Instant Glow Moisturizer + Dewy Peptide Plumping Serum: In my eyes, YSE Beauty can do no wrong. This new peptide-powered duo may just be your secret weapon against dry winter skin.
- YSE Beauty Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream: This is such a nice little pick-me-up in the morning. I apply it before heading out the door to yoga, and it instantly makes my whole face look more awake (at least to me…maybe not my fellow yogis! 🤪)
I love doing the research so you don’t have to! I hope this was a fun roundup for you.
