Not even a pandemic can stop the Women’s Board of Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital from hosting its annual holiday boutique that is starting today! From November 13-20, this year’s traditional event will happen virtually, encouraging all of us to “Shop Online for the Front Line.” One of the best parts, you can do some gift giving and giving back all from the comfort of your fave pjs!
This year’s boutique showcases more than 20 vendors from across the country. Some of those participating include Tuckernuck, The Freya Brand, and Rungolee, as well as local retailers like Raleigh Bird and Maria Cronin Design. Vendors will donate a percentage of their sales generated from the Boutique to the Women’s Board (shoppers, please use special code–WB2020).
Here’s how it works:
- Login to lfh.org/boutique any time from today until November 20.
- Enter WB2020 at checkout or mention it if you call in an order.
That’s all there’s to it!
A new vendor to this year’s lineup is one that will help you with those tricky boys on your list–31st State. 31st State offers a variety of grooming products developed specifically for teenage skin with boys in mind (but I’ve heard women like it, too!). The products contain powerful, active natural ingredients that are gentle on the skin. The brand is inspired by a vibe that is pure California, the 31st state, where clean living has always been a way of life. The brand is vegan and cruelty free. My boys have been using a number of these products and really seem to like them. They have a very clean, refreshing scent, which is so welcome when you live with a house filled with boys!
Proceeds from the Holiday Boutique will directly impact the Board’s fundraising goals, which currently includes a $1 million pledge to fund the technology platform in the new Simulation Training Center at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. This project will benefit the hospital’s frontline workers by providing valuable training resources.
Special thanks to the 2020 Boutique Co-Chairs Kathy Burden, Therese Dempsey, and Sheila Graham!
Happy shopping!
