In my house, the true test of whether something is really good is if my daughters steal it. It’s a thrill when I see them shopping in my closet, especially when they remember to put things back! Here are the six things I saw them reaching for last week!
Sherpa + vegan leather jacket (shown on Annie in the photo above): This has been one of Annie’s go-tos since she got home from college earlier this month. She wore it to a fancy Christmas party over a pretty dress and with jeans when we went downtown on Friday. I bought this one at Mango a few years ago and it’s sadly sold out. But this one and this one from Gap and this one from Shopbop are very similar.
Lip stain: Grace has said this is her favorite lip product–and it came from me! While I prefer a more statement lip, the girls like these Wonderskin All-Day Lip Stains because it’s their lip color, but better–and the color lasts all day. They put a little gloss over it and they are good to go! This lip stain goes on navy blue and you peel it off when you think you’ve reached the color intensity you want. Grace loves the shade “Whimsical.”
Initial necklace: When Annie was born, we did the right thing by giving her my name. She loves a good initial, and when she’s home, she has twice as many to choose from! I saw her wearing this Bauble Bar cutie of mine when she left for Florida this morning.
Body cream: The Caudalie Vinosculpt Lift & Firm Body Cream is the most luxurious moisturizer I have in my medicine cabinet and something I can’t keep from being emptied when Annie is home! It is her favorite (and mine). It keeps your skin so hydrated and glowing (when it’s not winter!).
Bath gel: When I was in high school, I worked in a drug store and we carried all of the Vitabath products. They were my favorite shower gels in the 80s and they still are now. Amazon always seems to have this one and this one in stock. I know Grace is hoping to take mine when she goes home to London next week.
Sambas: My girls make so much fun of my Samba obsession but they sure enjoy my collection when they are home. This was the color they gravitated to most over break.
Okay, friends! That’s all for today! Thanks to my sweet Grace for the idea to write this post!
