As much as I’ve loved summer, I am all about these cooler days as we move into fall. One of the ways I love to cozy up our home is with a few well- placed candles.
When my friend Kristi helped me update our home years ago, she introduced me to the Nest New York line of candles. If you’re a local, both Bluemercury and Pasquesi Home & Gardens sell this brand. If you live outside of my bubble, Amazon is also a great resource for these candles.
On any given day, I’ll have a candle burning in the kitchen, at my desk, in the family room, and even our foyer. It’s amazing how candles can instantly warm up a room.
One tip is to have the same fragrance burning throughout your house. Until October, I’ll continue to burn Nest’s Cedar Leaf & Lavender, which is my personal favorite. Once the leaves change color, Nest’s Pumpkin Chai candle will be my go-to. You get about 50-60 “burning” hours from each of their classic 8 oz. candles.
This fall, it’s all about the little things and I’ve found that great-smelling candles make any space happier.
