Happy Friday, friends! It feels so good to be back here. We are flying into graduation season—Leo from college and Jimmy from high school—and somehow it all feels like it’s happening at once. More than anything, I just want them to feel celebrated and for these milestones to really land. So I’m working my list a little bit everyday so when the time comes…we’re ready!
Until then, I have some fun things to share with you!
Pretty spring outfit: I’m looking for something nice to wear to Jimmy’s graduation (in his school colors) and to a few other events we have this spring. I love this skirt and blouse–they feel very sophisticated and Kate Middleton-esque. I think these pieces would look great as separates, too.
Pop of color: This little piece of joy arrived from Frances Valentine this week and it just makes me so happy! It’s big enough to carry my full-sized wallet, phone, sunglasses, and currently–four lipsticks!
Accent pillows: I finally bought pillows for our family room and they are perfect! We found them on Etsy and they are beautifully made. They were NOT inexpensive, but our last pillows lasted for 10 years! I think the cost per use on these will be pretty good. I can’t wait to show you the finished room. We are so close! Hopefully I can share next week!
Striped table linens: I have an obsession with navy and these striped napkins and placemats helped me set the most beautiful table that would work for anything special you have coming up.
Denim alternative: I have lots of mom meetings and events on the calendar and I just can’t wear denim to all of them–I realize jeans are often my go-to. These flowy pants are an easy way to be a little dressier. They do run big so I would be sure to size down.
Cap-toe woven flats: I have a pair of Margaux woven Mary Janes from last year and they are some of my most comfortable shoes. I love these two-toned cap-toe flats made in the same material.
Everything shower shampoo and hair mask: K18 sent me their detox shampoo and leave-in hair mask and they might be my two new favorite products I’ve tried in the last month. I take an “everything shower” on Sunday nights and use this shampoo and hair mask and they make my hair feel so soft and healthy when I wake up. They are part of the Sephora Sale that’s running until Monday. And in case you missed it, here are some of my favorites from Sephora!
Pink cheeks: Pops of color are “my thing” heading into summer. This powder blush from Tower 28 in the color “Malibu Cooler” is so pretty!
Summer moisture: Beauty Pie sent me their Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream and it’s such a nice weight for summer. I’ve been using it at night and it absorbs so quicky–it feels hydrating without making me feel greasy. This is the first product I’ve tried from Beauty Pie and I really like it.
