Happy Friday! Let’s kick off this long holiday weekend with a few of my favorites from this week.
Labor Day Garden Market: Remember back in ordinary times when our favorite artisans would get together and have a show? Well this weekend, you’re in for a treat! A number of talented women are coming together for an outdoor market that will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 295 Hickory Court in Lake Bluff. Among the amazing vendors will be Designs by Charlotte, Sack Designs (great face masks!), Flowers by Katie Ford, Michelle Renee Designs, April’s Linens, and Toffee Traditions to name just a few. I hope to see you there!
Juice That Gives Back: Lululemon, Flowers by Katie Ford, and Forest Greens Juice Bar have come together to raise funds for the National Alliance for Mental Illness. Forest Green Juice Bar created a cold-pressed refresher that is a special blend of apples, lemon balm tea, honey, lemon called “Peace of Mind.” These ingredients are known to relieve stress and promote calmness–something we could all use. For every bottle of “Peace of Mind” that Forest Greens Juice Bar sells in September and October, they will donate $2 to the National Alliance for Mental Illness. This is such an easy and healthy way to give back.
Revision Skincare Intellishade: If you’ve followed me for any time at all, you know that I’m a girl who loves her makeup. But the older I get, the more I like products that have ingredients in them to help my skin. About a month ago, I started using Revision Skincare’s Intellishade and I don’t think I’ll ever use another foundation. It’s a moisturizer, anti-aging product, with and sunscreen…what more does a gal need?
