Friday Faves, Vol. 6

Happy Friday friends! Even with the holiday on Monday, this week has felt like a long one! But it’s ending with fun as we make our way to South Bend tonight to celebrate Junior Parents’ Weekend with our Annie. So crazy that she’s a junior already. The college days with our children have flown! I’m glad that her school has these built-in weekends where they make sure we take some time to just take it all in!

Before I go pack my weekend bag, I wanted to share some of my favorites from the week with you! Let’s go!

Classic trench coat: If you’re going on a European vacation any time soon, my favorite trench is this classic coat from J. Crew. This one is special because it’s lined and has a hood. I’ll take a hood any day over an umbrella!

Spring tablescape: I did a little project with Petite Plume this week as they unveiled their pink toile napkins, placements, and runner. These pieces are so soft and pretty and looked beautiful with these chargers (you’re not going to believe where these are from or how much they cost!). And I love this bamboo flatware as the finishing touch.

Dreamy weekend bag: I don’t own this bag but I do find myself thinking about it…a lot! It doesn’t help that you can go on the website and play with the customizations to make it just like you want!

New suitcase: With spring break around the corner, I’ve been researching a new carrryon. These bags have great reviews and I really love this color.

For my Bravo girls: The iconic Lisa Rinna from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has a memoir coming out on Tuesday–You Better Believe I’m Going to Talk About It. She has been very careful not to reveal too much from the book as she’s out promoting it. Looks like the perfect escape reading! I can’t wait!

Hydrating cleanser: The good people at Remedy sent me their Gentle & Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser with Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin to try. It’s so moisturizing–I love it. When I was at Target last week, I saw that they have a whole line of Remedy products available–proof that you don’t have to spend lots of money to take care of your skin!

Pore refiner: My friends at @andtwogirls (you have to follow them!) recommended this new product from Versed that’s concentrated for your pores. I swear my pores seem to get bigger as I get older and in just a week of use–I feel like mine have actually gotten smaller. I just use it at night (in my T-zone) before I go to bed. If you have this issue like me, it’s the best $18 you will spend!

Spring flats: If you want to freshen up your look, these lime woven flats are perfection! I think these are coming to Mexico for spring break.

Give me the green! Obsessed with all things Boden and this green embroidered sweater has made more more so. The perfect shade to bridge the seasons from winter to spring!

xo,

Spring Flats – Mexico vacation. Hopefully you have cancelled your trip to Mexico. Following the terrible problems, flights cancelled, no Ubers, gas stations being burned down etc. Just such a terrible time for Americans that can’t fly out now.

Oh wow. We’re still going, but I’m nervous for sure. I’m sorry that you had such an awful time. We’re keeping a very close eye on things.
