I used to watch makeup tutorials on Tik Tok, completely amazed by these cute women with their 45-step routines. While my skincare doesn’t quite take 45 steps, it is a few more than usual thanks to Skinceuticals gifting me their gold standard CE Ferulic and two of their new products P-Tiox and the HA Intensifier Multi Glycan. Skinceuticals makes medical-grade products that are some of the best in the skincare industry, but they are an investment. Over the years, I have tried to find products that come close to these trailblazers that are a little easier on the wallet. I have to tell you, though, that it’s been so much fun playing with these!
Let me tell you a little bit about what each of these serums do.
CE Ferulic: This product is a skin pollution buster. This is the #1 dermatologist recommended vitamin C serum among medical aesthetic skincare brands. This daytime vitamin C serum for the face delivers advanced environmental protection and clinically improves the 8 signs of aging, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration, loss of firmness, and brightness.
P-Tiox: This is like botox in a bottle. P-TIOX is a peptide-powered serum inspired by the effects of anti-wrinkle neurotoxin injections, proven to reduce the appearance of 9 types of expression lines and reveal glass skin radiance.
HA Intensifier Multi Glycan: This serum is a big drink of water just for your face. This serum is now shown to visibly plump the skin’s surface with volume equivalent to 1cc of hyaluronic acid. This serum not only plumps and hydrates, but also visibly defines facial contours, fills fine lines and helps stimulate the cells responsible for volume.
In the promotional materials that came with the products, they stated that some users see results within a week. That seemed too good to be true…until I started using them! In the last week, I’ve literally had strangers at the grocery store ask me what I had on my face because it was “glowing.” For me, I can really see a difference in how healthy my skin looks even before I put on my makeup.
So, with all of that said, I thought I would sum up what my routine has been the last couple of weeks with these new products from Skinceuticals added in.
After I get out of the shower, this is how I apply my products (I read somewhere that you should apply products from the thinnest to the thickest in consistency):
- I put 3-4 drops of the P-Tiox into my palm and pat into my face, neck, and chest.
- Next, I put 3-4 drops of the HA Intensifier and pat into my face, neck, and chest.
- Finally, the best serum ever that smells like hot dogs…I put 3-4 drops of the CE Ferulic into my palm and pat into my face, neck, and chest.
- I let this all dry for a minute and then I put on the Elta MD Clear sunscreen. When I saw the dermatologist in January, they suggested I use this over my Vitamin C serum and it’s been great. A little goes along way and it doesn’t pill under my makeup.
- The sunscreen would probably be enough moisture, but since I’m absolutely obsessed with the InnBeauty Extreme Cream, I finish with this and the InnBeauty Extreme Cream Eye, too.
That’s it! You’re probably thinking, that’s enough! But it’s quick and has definitely made a difference. It goes without saying that I started with a nice base having just visited Erase Medispa for dermaplaning. If you missed my recap on that, here it is.
As always, let me know if you have questions. I’m so happy to share!
