Anyone else excited for this long weekend? I'm sti Anyone else excited for this long weekend? I'm still on a big high from Eddie's graduation, but it's time for me to put my head down and get things done for our next graduate. Annie graduates from high school next Saturday. I can hardly believe it. She's my baby girl and somehow old enough to go to college. Annie begged me to please keep our graduation party for her very low key and that's just what we're going to do--family and tacos--it will be great! So if you don't see much posting from me next week, you now know why. But until then, I've rounded up a few of my favorite things from the week in a post that's up on the blog today. Enjoy! Happy Friday! 💛

There is no better way to kick off the holiday wee There is no better way to kick off the holiday weekend than at the Elawa Farms’ Garden Market. You can’t help but leave with some matcha lemonade, Molls Balls, and a good mood! Happy Friday! ☀️
Tomorrow is Annie’s last day of high school. I’m not sure how that happened so fast, but here we are. 🥰 One little tradition I started when my oldest graduated from high school was to host a “Senior Mom Send-Off” breakfast to thank the moms from my child’s friend group for raising the most amazing humans. It’s also a simple way to connect before the graduation fun begins and everyone scatters in all different directions. This morning was the send off for the moms of Annie’s crew and my heart feels very full. I continue to be in awe of this community and the kids we’re launching into the world. Job well done, mamas! 💙💛
Hello and happy Tuesday! I am finally catching my Hello and happy Tuesday! I am finally catching my breath after a wonderful weekend celebrating our Eddie’s graduation from Notre Dame. I haven’t been to lots of graduations in my life, but I think you would be hard pressed to find a university that does it better than ND. The messages of “be a force for good” and “peace at all costs” are hammered home. I really believe the graduates feel as if they’ve been charged–and like it’s their responsibility–to go out and make the world a better place. It’s just the best.

I also love these weekends with our kids because it allows at least a day or two of one-on-one time with them that we don’t typically get. It’s just the coolest thing to walk in your child’s shadow and see what their world is like. Being Eddie’s mom is a little like being the mom of the mayor. He seems to know everyone and is genuinely energized by saying “hi” and dabbing people up.

It was especially interesting watching Eddie last weekend because even with him returning to Notre Dame for a masters degree in the fall, I can see that it’s starting to hit that adulthood is coming in hot. Even though he doesn’t believe it yet, he is ready for the future ahead of him. This amazing school has taught him well. And the doors it has already opened for him are unbelievable. As I type this, Eddie is in Milan for an intensive class offered for athletes who don’t have time in their schedules to do a traditional study abroad program. Can you even imagine? I didn’t even know how to dream of such things when I was his age and here he is actually living them. 🥰

Before I let you go, I’ve been a little lacking lately in sharing some of my favorite things and what else is going on over here. So in today’s blog post, I get you all caught up! Enjoy! xo ☘️
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I was completely spoiled on Mother’s Day having almost all of my kiddos at home and just having a quiet day with them. In my world, there’s nothing better!

There was one funny story from yesterday that ties to my weekly menus that I thought I would share. Every Mother's Day, each of the kids writes me a note and I absolutely treasure them. Jimmy's tend to be the funniest...they have been ever since he was old enough to write them himself. Yesterday, the image he drew to best sum up what I meant to him as a mother was a crockpot. Yep! I guess I need to reflect on that a bit, but it was still hilarious! (Swipe across to see his amazing drawing...it's pretty darn good!)

Anyway...we kick off the graduation fun this Friday for Eddie. His four years at Notre Dame went so fast! Until then, it’s business as usual around here and today on the blog I round up everything I will be making for dinner this week. Enjoy the ☀️! xo
