If you have followed me for any time at all, you know that I love makeup! So even though I have products that I have loved and used forever, I always like to try the new things on the market.
Last year, I began hearing lots of buzz about this new cosmetics company called Sarah Creal Beauty. Sarah Creal had a long career in the beauty industry, but noticed that most cosmetics weren’t considering the changing needs of a woman as she aged. So, she took matters into her own hands and began developing products for women over 40. And one of the best parts is that you won’t see anyone except women in their 40s and beyond in any of her marketing communication. Creal’s intentionality of who her products are for is very clear.
I reached out to Sarah Creal to see if they might be interested in working with me and they sent me several of their products to try. Here is what I think one week into using these products.
Face Flex Concealer: I have been a fan of their Face Flex Concealer since it launched. I think it might be the best concealer on the market. It’s the consistency of it that won me over–so creamy, great coverage, and it doesn’t crease.
Firm Offer: This is a great eye primer for under your concealer. It has a slight tint and just melts into your skin. This is perfect for summer. I might need something heavier in the colder months, but it’s great for this hot weather.
Brilliant Repair Shield Illuminating Broad Spectrum Face Mineral Sunscreen Serum SPF 50: I love products that have multiple purposes and this sunscreen also makes a great skin primer. I don’t even think you need to wear a foundation over this. It leaves your skin looking even, glowy, and protected. And the packaging makes it great for travel or to throw in your purse to reapply later in the day.
Today’s Highlights 12H Peptide Balm Luminizer: I followed the directions on the packaging and used my finger to apply this product on my cheek and brow bones and it gave just the right amount of shimmer–perfect for a dewy summer look. I also think this could be so pretty for the holidays.
Just Like Paradise 12H Peptide Sculpting Cream Bronzer: I have tried a lot of great bronzers–both creams and powders–but this one from Sarah Creal is a keeper. It’s light and hydrating and gives you that sun-kissed look. Love, love, love, this for summer and I think it will be just enough to fool people into thinking I’ve been in the sun when the gray months hit.
