Hi friends! We made it! What a week. I’m grateful to have lots of fun football games to look forward to this weekend…most notably the big rematch between Lake Forest High School and Libertyville tomorrow afternoon. The linebacker mom nerves have set in deep today, but I know these boys can do it! Praying for a great game (with no injuries!).

It’s been hard to concentrate on much this week, but I did have fun distracting myself making a list of fun things to share with you today. So let’s do this!

Tuckernuck does it again! Last week, we had Jimmy’s football banquet and I bought this cute denim dress to wear. It’s so lightweight and easy to wear. In typical me fashion, I managed to come home with cake frosting on my dress. But I tossed it in the washing machine and dryer and it still looks brand new. I hardly had to iron it. The best part, it’s under $200! This would be a great dress for Thanksgiving or anything else you have coming up as we near the holidays. I’m wearing a medium. I also did a roundup of other cute dresses Tuckernuck is offering this fall. Check this out!

Great boots: Chocolate brown is having its moment this fall and I’m trying to work it in wherever I can. I was so excited to find these great brown boots that didn’t break the bank. They looked great with my Tuckernuck dress and I wore them from setup to cleanup at the banquet.

Sephora sale: Sephora is having its big sale through Monday so I did a round up of my favorite products I’ve bought from them over the last year. This is a good list!

Martha Stewart in all her glory: Netflix dropped a new documentary about Martha Stewart–Martha— last week and it was fantastic. Love her or hate her, Martha is very entertaining and she owns that she’s not for everyone.

Lemon chicken orzo soup: I made this for dinner last week and it was a hit–even with Jimmy. It came together so quickly and was very cozy.

Elawa Farms Cafe: I finally had the chance to stop by Elawa Farm’s new little cafe and it was fantastic. It’s the sweetest little space with a nice offering of fresh breakfast and lunch items. I had the lavender latte with oatmilk when I stopped by and I can’t wait to go back for another.

Happy weekend all! Go Scouts and Go Irish!
