Friday Favorites

My cute tee is from Tuckernuck.

Happy Friday! If this is your first week back after spring break, I hope it went well. Mine felt a little non-stop, but that just meant Friday came a little faster! But that didn’t stop me from pulling together a list of some of my favorite things from the week. Here you go!

Elawa Easter items: Easter is just a little more than two weeks away and Elawa Farm is ready to help. Today they went live with their pre-order menu for Easter with everything from your protein and side dishes to dessert. I couldn’t help but order this darling cake. Elawa Farm does so much for the community–I love when I have a chance to support them!

Make Craft Camp: My very dear and talented friend Bridget Graham is on the brink of launching a crafting studio across from Fort Sheridan called “Make.” When my girls were little, she would host workshops at her house and I couldn’t get them signed up fast enough. They were always a summer hit! Bridget will be leading classes and workshops starting this summer. Be sure to follow her instagram account @makecraftcamp to stay in the know about when her signups are open!

Sephora’s spring sale: Sephora is having one of their big sales that is running through April 14. I did a roundup of all of my favorite products in this post.

Mel Robbins talks women’s health: Today on my walk, I listed to a very detailed but super informative podcast on women’s health. Prolific podcaster Mel Robbins interviewed Dr. Stacy Sims and I don’t think they left any stone unturned. The biggest takeaway is that there are a lot of diet and exercise trends based on studies done on men. Ugh! Dr. Sims repeatedly said that women aren’t “little men.” While the podcast is long, it was chocked full of new things to think about.

Spring break in London: In case you missed it last week, I recapped everything about our trip to London last week in this post. That city has a hold on me for sure and I can’t recommend enough that you plan a visit.

Best mail ever: I’m not quite sure how it happened, but the Skinceuticals marketing department added me to their mailing list. OMGGGGGG! Skinceuticals makes some of the best medical-grade skincare products on the market. They sent me their holy grail CE Ferulic Serum, which has one of the highest concentrations of Vitamin C that you can put on your skin. The also sent me their brand new P-TIOX Serum (that has anti-aging properties that mirror Botox) and Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Multi-Glycan Serum (a super hydrator and plumper). In my opinion, these products are the gold standard for skincare, but with that comes a heftier price tag. Over the years, I have done my best to find more economical products with similar properties (the L’Oreal Revitalift Vitamin C Vitamin E Salicylic Acid is an absolute favorite at a great price, as are the INNBeauty Extreme Creams). I will give these new products a try and will report back. I apologize in advance for probably loving them!

All right, my friends. That’s all for this week! And thank you to everyone who sent me hotel ideas for my upcoming trip to Paris. Now, if there is anything we have to see while we’re there, I would love to know. We have four days to fill!

xo,
