My 3 Products for Glowy Skin

Winter takes such a toll on my skin, but I’m finding consistency with some favorite products really makes a difference. Here are the three that have been saving me lately.

Exfoliate with the Trish McEvoy Correct and Brighten Beta Hydroxy pads: My Trish McEvoy expert Katherine says to use these four times a week, but in the throws of winter, I use them almost every day.

Add Vitamin C: I’m trying hard to be consistent with this one because I think Vitamin C is the key to brighter skin. I’ve been loving L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Vitamin C Serum. You can’t beat the price at under $30 (and it has 12% Vitamin C!).

Moisturize: I know I sound like a broken record but this innBeauty Extreme Cream is the best moisturizer I have ever used.

Additionally, I went to the dermatologist last week for a little spot I have on my space and she made two more suggestions:

1. Use sunscreen. I’m very guilty of skipping this step because sometime my makeup has sunscreen built in, so I forget to add when it doesn’t. She suggested the EltaMd UV Clear and it has worked so well under my makeup.

2. Add a retinal. I’ve been so leary to use a retinal product because it makes my skin so dry. The doctor suggested adding a gentle retinoid, like this one from Avène called the RetrinAL 0.1 Intensive Cream, to my NIGHT TIME routine, every other night. Then once I build up a tolerance to this, I might be read for something prescriptive. I’ll let you know how this goes.

I hope this helps!
